FNN is part of VDE, organised as a board with its own staff and with more than 200 members from industrial manufacturers, network companies, scientists and associations promoting the work and the aims of FNN.
FNN is an independent, non-profit and neutral body in accordance with industrial self-regulation.
The general meeting defines FNN policy and elects the members of the forum.
The board of directors defines the strategic aims, represents FNN vis-à-vis the public and determines its position in terms of current questions.
The forum is in charge of handling FNN topics; it defines priorities and balances the work and resources between the three steering committees.
The steering committees are in charge of the work carried out by project groups and approve the results obtained.
The project groups are responsible for the professional quality of their rules/results.
