Please note that the environmental badge (Feinstaubplakette) has become obligatory in Frankfurt as of 1October 2008!
As of 1October 2008 the environmental green zone has come into force in Frankfurt in order to reduce the immission of particle matters. The environmental badge is now obligatory.
As of 1 January 2010 only vehicles with a yellow or green badge are allowed access into the green zone.
As of 1 January 2012 only vehicles with a green badge are allowed access.
