Our Testing Center for Acoustics and Noise Emission Measurements puts us in a great position to respond to the growing need for high quality measuring services. The measuring room is designed as a semi anechoic room classified as accuracy class 1 according to ISO 3745 to guarantee the highest standards of measurement precision.

National and international directives, standards and laws form the basis for measuring acoustics and noise emission. We compile a VDE test report for you to document the test result. We can provide an appropriate certificate also. Aside from the different accreditations it holds, the VDE Institute is also registered with the EU as a Notified Body under reg. no. 0366 for testing compliance with the requirements of the “Outdoor Directive”.

Especially low noise products can be awarded with the VDE Quality Tested mark. This VDE mark for usability confirms the high lever of quality of the product and is acknowledged in equal measure by both purchasers and consumers.

Our test reports serve as the basis for the legally stipulated documentation of sound power levels, for example as part of the EU energy label for washing machines, dryers, dishwashers and refrigerators and freezers, and for general CE marking
