Requirement
Regulation 1907/2006/EC “REACH”, Article 33 “Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemical Substances”
Since October 28, 2008 suppliers of articles which contain SVHC in a concentration above 0.1 % (w/w) must provide sufficient information, available to their customer within 45 days of the receipt of this request.
This information must ensure safe use of the article and, as a minimum, include the name of the substance
The SVHC list is maintained by the EU.

Outlook 2011
Starting from 2011 suppliers of articles which contain SVHC in a concentration above 0.1 % (w/w) and that exceed a production volume of 1 t/a per company are obliged to inform the ECHA (European Chemicals Agency).
